What a day!
Today we got the test over and done with and it went extremely well if you look at the marks achieved. Like I said, I aimed high and I am happy with my results!
I want to thank Pieter Hamman again for the tremendous effort that he has put into the program. It really excites me that he wants to get involved in the PDP program, because of the passion that he puts into his work. I've spoken to him a few times when we had a chance and I found out that he has a lot of experience in most of risk management processes.
The important bit that came out of this coarse for me was, how to integrate safety systems and how to make them work for you. I'm just itching to get out and see how it all comes together in the working environment.
I'm going to be the new health and safety rep for the BIT and training departments, and had a discussion with Matt and he said he will assist us all in making it work!
I'm off to the farm for the weekend to relax a bit, because next week is going to be a big one as we start with the RISKMAQ part 1.
